Catching up on events and activities

A lot has happened over the past few months.
My dear mother passed away on August 15, 2015, and I made a quick trip home to Utah. It was such a blessing to be there with my dad and our family. When I arrived in Amsterdam, I found out mother had already passed away. I will never forget that airport.

I got to meet our little Finley for the first time while I was there. What a joy to see family after being in South Africa for one year!

Cooper and Sawyer had a game of chess with their uncle Wayne, my oldest brother.

I saw the progress on the Provo City Center Temple.
It looks beautiful!

Entering the Sterkfontein Cave

This is the area Mrs Plese was found. They are still combing through the area to find more artifacts.

Cracks and crevices we went through

Finally reached the end. The cave experience took just over an hour. At times we had to crawl or squat down to get through openings.

The countryside is beautiful around the caves

Many vintage pieces many from glass beads

We also walked through the Origins Museum.

Just took photos of the drinks. Yummy!

The 'Girls': Sisters Thompson, Dunn, Allred, Walton, and Collins

Elder Allred and I moved to another flat in the same corner of flats where we have been staying. (Still across the street from the mission office) It feels more like the yards back home. We will stay here until the second week in November, then move to Elder and Sister Thompson's flat. They are leaving for home 06 November. We will truly miss them, but are so excited they will be back with their family again!!
