Random Photos and Zone Conference June 2015

On our drive to Witbank to make a delivery, we came across this huge crane.

It's the burn season. In South Africa, the firemen start fires. They set the fields on fire to get rid of weeds and to encourage
new growth for spring and summer.
Everywhere we drive, the ground is black and charred.

Elder Johnson and Elder Oldroyd in Witbank. They got a new study desk and other needed supplies.

Even in winter, the flowers are blooming.
This was taken outside our fence.

Senior Couples Dinner

The Dunns hosted a dinner at the mission home for the senior couples. It is always fun to gather and meet new friends. Here are Elder and Sister Berg from Sandy UT.
We really hit it off with them. What a fun couple!

Our new friends Elder and Sister Jefferies. They just arrived May 22 and we love them. They work in Seminary and Institute (CES).

Our new best friend, It is so COLD here right now. No one has heated flats and we rely on these little space heaters to get us through the chill of winter.

He has the cutest little face :o)

Quite a large load for such a small bakkie

Little birds on a fence

We have so many adventures that take us many miles to do our mission assignments, and we love each one. We had no idea we would be serving in the mission office, and were not sure what that would be all about. But as the months go by, we find that we love it! We are blessed to serve here and are finding out how much Heavenly Father is in control. It's His work and we are just a couple of willing hearts and hands. We realize His power as we learn and do. We hope all who have the opportunity to serve a mission will not let 'things' get in the way of a life changing experience.
