Two Week's Worth

I attached the SAJM patch to President Dunn's soccer/football jersey

Pretty cool patch!

AP Elder Malapula modeling the new mission messenger bag. We had a local company design it for us.

Out on one of our many trips visiting missionary flats I took a photo of the local tupperware store.

This store front was in the same complex

Rhino holding up the corner of a building

Love the Tonka trucks!

Companies have fleets of motorcycle delivery guys

Little friendly competition going on between Coke and Pepsi

A restaurant spans across the freeway

We took a trip to Mokopane to help the Brammers empty their flat as they were ending their 18 month mission. It was a beautiful drive.

South Africa has red soil, just like places in Utah!

What?!?

Yup, it's a swimming pool
As we entered Limpopo province, the freeway was lined with tall fences, some marked with a graphic of a lion saying 'caution'. We did see a few herds of Springbok, and a few Eland. Looking forward to the time when I see a giraffe in the wild!

We see these warning signs quite often

Lovely roadside fruit and veggie stands.

Many people don't have indoor plumbing and have to collect their drinking water from other sources

Elementary Schoolyard

Notice that the children are not wearing shoes

Beautiful neighborhoods in Mokopane. There was a peaceful feeling here.

Elder Brammer and Elder Allred loading up the trailer

Us and the Brammers. We wish we could have got to know them better, but being a 3 1/2-4 hour drive away, we only saw them twice.

The journey home was filled with beautiful clouds and a little rain

We hit the famous rush hour traffic and this is what we were stuck behind for about an hour!

Shopping always is an adventure. We see new and unusual fruits and veggies.

 ....................................................

The other day we delivered new mattresses to Elder Beers and Elder Stilgoe
Elder Adji and Elder Holloway helped.

MLC Luncheon

Elder Allred and Sister Thompson helping set up. Romans Pizza, Greek salad, fresh fruit salad and brownies were the food of the day.

Our zone leaders love to mingle at these occasions. They all are such good friends.
